Dr. L. Michael Cox

In addition to extensive dental practice experience, Michael Cox brings a strong research background to BridgeMill Dentistry. After earning his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia, he worked in research at the prestigious Emory School of Medicine, where he studied pain pathway transition and nerve stimulation. He continued his research at the Medical College of Georgia as an Electron Microscopist, studying bone regeneration surrounding tooth extraction and implant sites.

Michael earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia, and subsequently practiced for an established dental office in Canton, GA and cosmetic dentistry practice in Atlanta. He joined BridgeMill Dentistry in 2012, and has quickly earned a reputation for providing high-quality patient care with limited pain and discomfort.

A native of Marietta, GA, Michael graduated from Osborne High School. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Georgia Dental Association.

Michael lives in Canton with his wife and children and enjoys camping, hiking, tennis, and other sports activities.
