Dr. Morton
Dr. Morton has dedicated more than 20 years to caring for patients’ smiles and dental health. He began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Augusta State University. He then worked in research evaluating the biocompatibility of dental materials. Intrigued by this research experience, he decided to pursue his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2003.
His commitment to excellence is reflected in his prestigious Fellow status with the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction earned by fewer than 6% of U.S. dentists. He attained this recognition by completing an extensive and ongoing amount of continuing education and examination covering all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Morton also holds credentials in cosmetic and implant dentistry from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, respectively. And to ensure all patients, even those that have a debilitating fear of going to the dentist, are able to receive the care they want or need, Dr. Morton also provides IV Sedation.
Outside of private practice, Dr. Morton has served in various professional leadership roles including president of the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and adjunct clinical instructor at the Dental College of Georgia. He has also participated in dental missions both locally and in South America.
Personally, Dr. Morton enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Paola, and their three sons, Ian, Ethan, and Evan. The family loves exploring new destinations, engaging in outdoor adventures, and enjoying the scenic beauty of the North Georgia mountains.
